Here is a brief outline of our 2004 trip:
THURSDAY OCTOBER 7th.
English Country Dance in Westchester, about 30 miles north of New York City.
Philippe Callens was the caller.FRIDAY OCTOBER 8th.
Travel 60 miles north of Westchester to "Weekend Whirligig" at Circle Lodge for a full weekend of dancing.
Musicians: Bare Necessities and the Flying Romanos.
Callers: Philippe Callens, Bruce Hamilton, Fried de Metz Herman, Gary Roodman, Paul Ross and our own Ian & Val McFarlane.MONDAY OCTOBER 11th.
After the afternoon farewell dance, travel to Milner Hotel, BostonTUESDAY OCTOBER 12th.
Explore Boston. (Trip for some to Plimoth Plantation.)
Gender Free English Country Dance in Jamaica Plain, Boston.
Musicians: Peter barnes & Jacqueline Schwab.WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 13th.

English Country Dance in Arlington, Boston.

Trip to Salem.
Contra Dance at the VFW Hall in Cambridge.

Travel to the Hudson Valley via Shelburne Falls with its "Bridge of Flowers".
Dinner hosted by Margherita Davis and arlene Goldberg at Margherita's house.SATURDAY OCTOBER 16th.
Visit to the Hancock Shaker Village near Pittsfield, MA
English Country Dance in Stockport, NYSUNDAY OCTOBER 17th.
Advanced English Country Dance afternoon at Munson Library, South Amherst, MA.
Dinner at Judy Grundberg's restaurant, "The Blue Plate" in East Chatham.MONDAY OCTOBER 18th.
Return to JFK airport for those of the group who are not staying longer in the USA.
